WebDec 10, 2014 · The difference between D800 and D600 in terms of sensitivity and saturation is really small. The only thing that's dramatic is 36MP vs 24MP. As long as you are able to expose long enough (for each sub) and as long as you have the right optics, D800 will give you superior images because of its finer pixels.
