WebA total of 422 caregivers of people with mental illness were interviewed for the study with a response rate of 100%. Among them, 70.38% were male and 67.77% were married. The mean age of the caregivers was 37.8 (±13.9) years. Two hundred sixty-six (63.03%) were Muslims and 61.37% were members of the Oromo ethnic group.
